We have supplied Frozen Halal Boneless Buffalo Meat to the World for the past 4 decades. Our commitment and investment in the industry is without peer. Our buffaloes are naturally reared, pasture fed, free from hormones and other growth promoters. The meat from such naturally fed buffaloes is considered to be healthiest of all meat.
The Allana Group enjoys the distinction of being the pioneer (1969) in the export of deboned and deglanded frozen Buffalo meat to more than 70 countries world wide, including countries in South East Asia, Middle East, CIS and Africa. We account for about 50% of meat exports from India.
The Allana Group owns and operates state of art, integrated food processing establishments at strategic locations across India infrastructure at each location includes livestock reception and quarantine facilities, mechanized abattoirs, product chilling rooms, air conditioned deboning salons, meat packaging sections, plate freezing and blast freezing facilities, cartoning and packaging departments, cold storage warehousing, continuous in line rendering and effluent treatment plants. Standby generators of aggregate capacity of at least 150% of operating load are provided.
In addition, well equipped, quality control laboratories covering microbiological, chemical and other testing of the product are established at each facility, operated by well qualified and experienced leading technicians/ scientists.
All critical machineries like carcass dressing lines, offal processing equipments, refrigeration and rendering machineries are sourced from proven suppliers internationally, ranging from USA to Europe, to Australia and New Zealand. This has helped design and build the infrastructure in line with the most stringent EEC and US FDA standards.
Production of deboned, deglanded frozen Buffalo meat for export from India is a very regulated industry under the compulsory licensing of Agricultural & Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA), Ministry of Commerce (MoC), Government of India (GOI) that sets strict standards.
Competent and experienced Veterinarians inspect livestock before procurement and only selected livestock are authorized for transport to establishments. Compulsory ante mortem inspection of livestock, postmortem examinations of carcasses, offal and heads, in a synchronized manner and microbiological testing of the frozen meat is undertaken by the competent Government Veterinarians, ensuring that only healthy livestock is used. Competent Government Authorities issue the International Veterinary Health Certificate for the frozen meat and offal, duly confirming suitability of the product for human consumption.
Our manufacturing facilities have been certified for stringent quality and food safety systems under ISO 9001 and FSSC 22000 (HACCP) respectively with ISO 14001 for Environment Management System. We also have OHSAS 18001 an International Occupational Health and Safety Management System specification. Our adherence to strict International Quality Standards has enabled us to become India's largest exporter of meat products.
Our contribution to India's export efforts have been recognized by the Government of India, APEDA (Ministry of Commerce), Federation of Indian Export Organisations and various State Governments in the form of numerous awards at national and state level.
